In the Christian Religion, God is the supreme being, creator deity, principal object of faith of numerous monotheistic religions. He is usually shown to be omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and as having an eternal and necessary existence. In the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, God is referenced a few times and is partially shown in The Last Straw.
History[]
The Last Straw[]
When Greg Heffley discuss his belief that it is not wise to cover up good deeds, he imagines himself in heaven asking Him "What about that squirrel I helped with the broken leg?" in which God replies "Sorry, must've missed that."
Dog Days[]
God was been mentioned in the comic strip Li'l Cutie, indicating that its author, Bob Post, may be a theist.[1]
Greg also states that his grandmother might have a direct pipeline to God, as she nearly always gets what she prays for, while he himself is less successful when he asked God to hit Robert Jefferson in the head so he will forget about the country club bill and let him get past level 3 in Twisted Wizard without having to use any of his bonus health packages.[2]
The Deep End[]
God was mentioned giving animals abilities and saying good luck to humans.
Online[]
In a Little Cutie comic Greg shows, Little Cutie asks his mother if rain was God sweating.[3]
Greg prays to God to let him pass level 4 in Twisted Wizard without using any power-ups and make Erick Bickford fall down a flight of stairs.[4]
